Be honest about why you're here. In 2026, people buy Candy AI mainly for the images: companions that keep the same face from one generation to the next. More and more, they also come for Live Action, the mode that turns a chat into an animated clip. Roleplay and voice messages come along with it. Long, deep conversation is not what it does well. A September 2026 review found its memory starting to slip after about a week to ten days of daily chatting.

What changed since February

February 2026: Live Action got a major upgrade. It now makes clips of up to two minutes in which your character moves, gestures and reacts. August 2026: Candy launched its Creators program, AI twins of real adult creators that the company says are made with the creators' consent. Also August 2026: an independent review still found no age verification at signup and noted that most of the category has the same gap.

September 2026: the Candy Shorts video feed was rebuilt around series titles. The first two episodes of every series are free, and every locked episode shows its token price. A new version of the terms of service also took effect in September 2026, and it still clearly bans account sharing.

Shared seat or your own key

A shared plan fits people who are curious but not committed. You want a few weeks of images and Live Action to see whether the hype holds up, you aren't trying to build one long relationship, and you can accept that other people use the same account.

Pay full price if privacy matters. This is intimate content, and on a shared login other people may see your chats and characters. Pay full price too if you plan to spend the token allowance on video, or if losing access halfway through a month would really bother you.

Know which rule you would be bending. Candy AI's terms say an account cannot be sold, lent or shared with anyone, for money or for free.
